With only a few limitations you can mix and match our rails and hangers to fit any number of building environments.
QuickFrames offers three (3) rail strengths. All are made from galvanized (G90) graded steel:
– 10Ga: Ideal for floor openings, roof openings with concrete roofs, or exceedingly heavy equipment or long spans
– 12Ga: Our most-commonly used rails, well-suited for most mechanical rooftop equipment such as RTUs, AHUs, MAUs, evaporative coolers, condensers, and larger exhaust fans or skylights
– 16Ga: Best suited for smaller skylights, roof drains, roof hatches, and other non-mechanical rooftop openings

Connectors

T-Hanger

Designed for heavier loads, this bolted connection works with most typical steel decking profiles.

DROP-IN HANGER

Drop-in welded hanger used for drop-in frames. Can be used on standard joist and beam applications along with uplift conditions. When used with uplift conditions, a weld plate will be added to the hanger to secure and weld to the existing structure.

LEFT/RIGHT HEAVY GAUGE HANGER

Manufactured for heavier loads, this bolted connection is offset to allow room for openings that are near the joist or beam. Installation is made easier as the hanger will not interfere with the opening.

STANDARD GENERAL PURPOSE

Standard off-the-shelf bolted connection that works for light to medium duty applications. Stocked and ready for delivery.

HYBRID ROOF HANGER

What appears to be a standard bolted connection but designed specifically for hybrid roofing systems. This hanger is used to attach to the joist below the wooden nailer and raises the rail to meet the bottom of the decking.

HOW DO WE DETERMINE WHICH HANGER TO USE?

You don’t need to figure this out on your own. We will assign the appropriate hanger for your project based on the design criteria.

DO THE BOLTS HAVE TO BE TORQUED TO A CERTAIN SPECIFICATION ON THE HANGERS?

The main rails are shipped with the hangers attached so this will be performed and completed before your order ships.

WHAT TYPE OF FINISH IS ON THE HANGERS?

All hangers come powder coated black except welded hangers. Other finishes are available upon request.

WHAT HAPPENS IF TYPICAL HANGERS DON'T MEET CAPACITY OR APPLICATION?

We can custom design hangers for your project specifications. Our estimators will let you know what information is needed to get started.

Are weldable hangers available?

Yes! Weldable hangers are available and will be determined according to the uplift needs. We can also provide site specific hangers.
