3 Gifts to Give Yourself this Holiday Season
By Chase Sebastian, Partner & Director of Influence, QuickFrames
We’re nearing the end of December and all the gift-giving revelry that marks this time of year. And while we’re sure you’ve already gotten presents for everyone important on your list (or at least are planning to during your annual mad dash to the mall on Christmas Eve), have you stopped to think about yourself? So often, we focus on others during the holiday season, which is awesome. But what about you? Here are three gifts – which may or may not be related to rooftop equipment supports – you can give yourself before 2020 ends.
1. Time
I don’t know about you, but this tops my list every year. It’s the only thing we can never have more of, and we need it for every single thing we want to do in life. This is why efficiency is so important; taking too much time to do one thing means losing time to do something else.
When it comes to construction projects, there’s a lot that can be done to boost efficiency and save time. Say, for example, bolting in adjustable roof support frames rather than fabricating and welding in frames. And beyond this, make sure to carve out time for yourself. Whether it’s to work out, meditate or simply sit still for a moment, it’s important to have time to focus on your own well-being.
2. Peace
Nothing kills a good time like frustration and anxiety do. If you’ve welded in frames in the past just to find you were given the wrong mechanical locations, you’ve seen how quickly stress can compound. Now you have to cut the frames out or abandon them entirely, and then what? Basically, start all over again when you’re already behind schedule.
Instead, use QuickFrames. When locations change, take out the bolts and move them. Their adjustability means there’s a lot of leeway with where they can go, and you’ll save yourself some serious stress.
3. Fun
Last, but certainly not least, think about what makes you happy. This year has been unprecedented and brought tragedy, loss and fear along with it. But there’s always room to bring joy back into your days. So, whether that comes from roasting s’mores over a fire pit with your loved ones, giving to a stranger in need or even experiencing the smooth install of a roof opening frame, find it. Enjoy the little things, and let’s all look forward to the possibilities of 2021.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and very Happy Holidays from all of us here at QuickFrames!
